Returns & Refund policy
Courier deliveries of products purchased on this website are insured in transit to your delivery address. In the unfortunate event that products you have ordered are damaged in transit or missing from the delivery then under the terms & conditions you must notify the Mitchell Enterprises Limited customer service team no later than three days after the receipt of products. Email email@example.com and refer to your order number so we can resolve the issue. Usually this will be by way of sending you replacement products but due to item availability may involve a credit.
We always ensure that we comply with the Consumers Guarantee Act.
Please note that under the terms & conditions you have no entitlement to return goods for a refund beyond the situations covered above and if Mitchell Enterprises Limited does consent to the cancellation of your order you may need to incur handling charges to return products to Mitchell Enterprises Limited .
All orders are shipped from our warehouse in Auckland. Shipping is restricted to New Zealand.
While we try to deliver your order as soon as possible, please allow time for delivery. Should your order not be received after 10 business days, please contact the Customer Service team.
Authority to Leave:
Unfortunately, because all our parcels contain alcohol, we cannot give the couriers 'Authority to Leave'. We have asked that the courier company leaves a 'Card to Call' if no one is home - this leaves the customer free to rearrange a re-delivery or choose to pick up their parcel from the nearest NZ Courier depot.
What are the rules around alcohol delivery?
We can’t leave restricted goods such as alcohol unattended at an address. So please make sure that someone over the age of 18 will be available to take delivery – and they must have ID on them too.
Alcohol Goods will be deemed to have been delivered when they are delivered to the address nominated by You at the time of purchase. You agree to ensure safe and practical access onto the premises of the nominated address for delivery.
On delivery, We, or the third party delivering the order, reserve the right to refuse delivery or request proof of age from You and/or the recipient of the Alcohol Goods (if not You).In the event:
- Proof of age is not provided on request;
- The recipient of the Alcohol Goods is under 18 years of age;
- The recipient of the Alcohol Goods appears to be intoxicated;
- Alcohol will not be delivered to an intoxicated person.
- We cannot access, or safely access the nominated address; and/or
- The nominated address is unoccupied at the time of delivery,
You agree and acknowledge that We, and/or the third party delivering the order, may refuse to deliver the Goods. In such cases, We will refund the purchase price of the Goods ordered by You, minus a $10 cancellation fee. We will not be held liable for any loss or damage suffered by You or any third party as a result of refusing delivery.
On delivery of the Alcohol Goods You will take responsibility for them and will carry the full risk of liability with no recourse to us.
As part of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 alcohol cannot be delivered on Christmas Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Anzac Day before 1pm.
To deliver your order, it requires a signature from someone over 18. This means they cannot deliver your order to PO Boxes.
If you cannot provide a street address for your delivery, or if you cannot be home to sign for your delivery, you will receive a Collect card where you can speak directly to or enter a website to arrange an alternative delivery or collection time.
Changes to the delivery address cannot be administered once your online order is placed. Orders placed begin processing immediately to ensure order fulfillment and shipping time. In the event that you state an incorrect address, contact the Customer Service team during business hours.
